My favourite vacation…

Hello! Now I will talk about how my favourite vacation would be like…
In my favourite vacation I’d travel through Europe, visiting especially counties like Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Wales, Scotland, England, Ireland and Germany. Of course I’d need a lot of money to do that, but if I had it, that’s what I’d do. I really like the European cultures, I think they are very rich, and the places, the landscapes and the architecture are amazing, even intoxicating, and they make me feel something that is difficult to explain, a kind of connection.

If I were in Italy, I’d visit Venice, Rome, Vatican City, and South Tirol. In France I’d visit Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, for example. In Spain I would like to go to Madrid, Barcelona, Asturias, Galicia and Basque Country. In Scotland I would go to the old towns, cultural centres, mountains, fields, natural places. In England I’d visit old castles, museums, cultural places, touristic attractions, royal places that I can visit, old pubs, the forests, and natural places. In Ireland I would go to cultural centres, old Irish pubs, fields and meadows, mountains, beautiful natural places and the main cities of the country. Finally, in Germany, I’d like to visit Berlin, München, Frankfurt, Bonn, Leipzig, Neuschwanstein Castle, and a lot of cities, to see beautiful cultural and natural places and attractions, and to know how really Germany is.

A book I really like...

Hello! Today I'm going to talk about Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which is one of my favourite books.
This book was written by J. K. Rowling, and released on 8th July 2000, and the story is set in England, specifically in London and the Magical World, between 1994 and 1995.
In this story, as in the other books of Harry Potter, the main characters are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Cedric Diggory, Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody, Hagrid, , Neville Longbottom, Peter Pettigrew, Lord Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, Barty Crouch and Barty Crouch Jr..
The story starts when Harry is dreaming of a person, who then is killed. After this, he goes with the Weasleys, Hermione and the Diggorys to the Quidditch World Cup. In the night after a match, Voldemort’s followers attacked, and destroyed the tents where Quidditch fans slept. In Hogwarts, the Triwizard Tournament started, but this time four wizards were chosen, including Cedric Digory and Harry Potter, who was under age. There were three tasks, but at the last one, when Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter were going to win together, they were transported to the place where Voldemort  was going to recover his body, the same place Harry dreamt of. Voldemort kills Cedric, but after the fight, Harry escapes with Cedric’s corpse. Then, Professor Moody takes Harry to his office, but Harry could notice that the teacher wasn’t the real Alastor Moody, but he was Barty Crouch Jr.. Fortunately, after a moment Professor Dumbledore and Professor Snape, with more people arrived, and helped Harry.
I think this book gives a message that makes us reflect on the worth of friendship and the importance of choosing the right path, helps us to tell the difference between what’s bad and what’s wrong, and it also motivates us to do it.
I like this book so much, mainly because of the world is created in this book, which catches me, and because of the story, which I think is really exciting and I think it is very special.

Hello! Now I talk you about a photograph that I like and, or course, I'll show it to you.
This picture was taken by Jonathan F. Arnold, who uploaded it to internet too.
It shows an autumn forest in the late afternoon, with the sunlight passing through the trees, and with yellow and brown colours. It makes a quiet and peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It was taken in 2013.
I like this photograph because it's very similar to a dream I had, and watching pictures like that reminds me that dream and the feelings I had got in there. It brings me peace and an special connection.
Autumn Forest by JonFArnold Of course, this is not the only photograph that I like, and there's a lot of pictures that that make me feel a special connection too, like Scottish, Irish, German and nature landscapes, animal pictures and some artistic images.

My favourite film.

I don't really have a favourite film, beacause there are so many films that I like, so it's difficult for me to say which is the one I like the most. That's why I'm going to write about one of them: The Hobbit.
At the beginning, Gandalf, the wizard, persuades Thorin Oakenshield to obtain the Arkenstone, and unite Dwarves again, with the help of Bilbo Baggins, a Hobbit, who had to steal the jewel from Smaug, the dragon. It's the story about a group of Dwarves, a wizard called Gandalf and a Hobbit called Bilbo Baggins, who go on a journey to recover Erebor, the Dwarves land, by stealing back the Arkenstone, guarded by Smaug. All these events happen in the Middle Earth, and different regions of it. This land is similar to Great Britain and the north-west region of Europe. The main characters are Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield, the Dwarves, Thranduil, Smaug, the Nicromancer, Legolas, Tauriel, Galadriel, Beorn, Radagast, Azog, Bolg, and Bard. I like very much this film because of the exciting of the story, all the fiction world created by Tolkien, who made a complete and hard job creating his work, and because of the culture and the places present in the film, that is excellent and really amazing.

There are many pieces of technology that could be my favourite ones, such as my mobile phone, my notebook and my radio, but now I'm just going to write about one of them, which is my PlayStation 3.
I like videogames a lot, so my brother and I have got a PlayStation 3 that our parents gave us for Christmas, in 2012.
It's a videogames console, where we watch videos in YouTube and, of course, we play videogames like Battlefield 3 and 4 (which are my favourites), God of War III, Devil May Cry, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Resistance 3, The Last of Us and Pay Day 2. We just sit and begin to watch videos connecting to YouTube or putting a videogame CD, and then we play, usually online because we play in multiplayer mode.
The last year I used to play more often than this year, because now I haven't got as much free time as I had the last year, but if I can play and I want to, I just do it.
I like my PlayStation 3 beacuse of the videogames that are made for it, the graphics and because it allows you to do a lot of things, like connetcing with my friends while I'm playing and then play with them.
I think that my life without it wouldn't change so much, because if I don't have it, I could play videogames on my computer, or I could do anything different than playng videogames, like playing music, for example. But of course I prefer to have my PlayStation 3 than not, because I like it a lot!

Hi! I hope you're fine. Now I am going to write about my expectations, so... here's my second post:
Now I'm studying dentistry, and I like it. I find my subjects very interesting, and that's the field of knowledge . I want to study and which I like. It's true that Anatomy, Biology, Physics and Chemistry are so difficult at the university, and it's also true that these subjects, with Dentistry Introducion make us being so busy, and a bit stressed. But this is what I like and I want to do, so I just must do it and enjoy it.
I'm not doing extracurriculars right now. But I play the piano sometimes, so that's another activity that I like to do.
I hope this semester will be excellent. I want to have good marks, and learn so much, because I like what I'm doing. I also want to enjoy this period and anything what I do, and I want to do the things that I like the most.

Hello! My name is Carlos Felipe Dankert Soto. I’m 18, and I live in Santiago, Chile, where I was born, in July 18th 1995.
I’ve been at three different schools, but it was not because of my behaviour, it was because we were looking for a better school for me. My first school was called American British School. The second one was called Colegio Alicante, and the third one, which I liked the most, was Instituto La Salle, where I studied since 2009 until 2013. After this, I began studying Dentistry at Universidad de Chile, where I study nowadays.
We’re 6 people in my family – My mother Paula, my father Carlos, my two brothers Javier and Andrés, and my little Shih Tzu dog Linda. My girlfriend’s name is Camila.
I like playing piano. Actually, I studied piano at the Universidad Católica Music Institute, until 2012. I play a bit of Tin Whistle, and I started to play Bagpipe Practice Chanter a few years ago, but I haven’t practised. I like Classical music, Rock music and Metal. I also listen to Celtic music sometimes. My favourite band is Muse, but I like a lot of different Rock bands, Metal bands, and musicians. I love dogs and animals, and I like cooking, watching good films, watching YouTube videos, spending time outside, and playing videogames (actually not just those activities).

Well… This is part of my life, and I am sure I can say that I love it!
